15 Days

Nepal is world’s newest republic till date. The used to be Himalayan Kingdom is Himalayan republic now and the “used to be” King is given a 15 day ultimatum to leave the palace.

15 days! Will he leave on will? What if he doesn’t? What will military do? What if military supports him and there will be another coup? (If this happens then I suppose there will be another revolution in some time) Do our politicians have guts to kick him out if ultimatum is crossed? Or say, does our country have capability to withstand this political upheaval (especially withstanding foreign pressure)?

These are some of the common questions crossing through Nepalese head at this moment. But every one of us is also hoping for the best. Hoping for the better tomorrow, hoping for the politically progressive Nepal, hoping for peaceful Nepal once again, and hoping for prosperity. Yes those were the hopes that helped us endure our wounded past and will inspire us for our safer, superior future

Yes, We have got chances to see very interesting changes going on in our country for the last 2 years. The chain of events are really beyond our thinkings and conjectures. We had heard about revolution in the history.....Our mind was set with violence behind the word revolution....

But now, We are observing a new model of revolution..very new....

In spite of some disputes, afterall the political events are in progressive path. Coming so far, i don't believe in any kind of unfortuate happenings from the king in future. We all heard and saw an written memo presented by RPP in the CA house today....This is the last voice of Gyanendra...

So, I dont believe in military coup..of any kind......If happens somethings, it will be our misfortune..it will be a misfortune for our country....we will be gone behind again...and ultimately, democracry will be vanished. Maoist extremism will rise...there will be polarization between two powers...and ultimately, maoistists will caputure the country....it's gonna be CUBA....This is my view..
But, this will be the worst case....

However, i am worried in one thing...there are 601 members in CA and it is considered as the best representation of all category of people ever....
But, did you see the three parties having their decision in the house and get passed.......is it proportional?...is it truely SAMABESHI?...If this trend goes on like this even in the process of CONSTITUTION MAKING process, then this will be our bad luck....this is a serious matter and this is the one to which i am very much worried...

HAPPY REPUBLIC!

would the last king of nepal try to hit back is a million dollor question asked by many individuals here, there and everywhere . My simple openion is ...
HE WOULD IF HE COULD BUT HE CAN'T SO HE WONT.

it is really as simple as that one line. Yes HE WONT FORGET IT THOUGH.. and even after many years from now he would have enough wealth to manupulate the things ( political/cultural/regional) but then all he could do would be in closed boundries law and order ( hopefully we would have that kind of political structure in nepal from now ),so the little things he might do can make people remember he used to be THE ONE but that is all that.
